Here’s how it works on the PTR: In two certain circumstances, the global energy tick is reduced. Instead of regenning 20 energy like normal, it regens a % of 20, based on what % of time since the previous tick you were actually able to be regen.

Hurts PVP Rogues and their CS>Mutilate>Kidney combos, but I still watch my ticks and use careful openers while farming so this change makes me sigh.

We’re looking for some of your feedback on heroic dungeons since patch 2.1, specifically regarding difficulty. What heroic dungeons do you feel are too hard? What heroic dungeons are too easy? List some examples, provide info on specific mobs or pulls that give your trouble, tell us about the heroic dungeon you avoid and why, or give us a complete review of every heroic dungeon in the game if you want. Anything that helps us get feedback on your feelings of how fun, hard, easy, or rewarding they are.

Since a large amount of changes for heroic dungeons went in with the 2.1 (Black Temple) patch, we do want feedback to be specific to experiences since then.

Heroics are too demanding on the tank and healer (gear wise) to fundamentally make any sense. Players who need Heroic loot can’t run them effectively, and players who are already purple just speed run them for badges, sharding everything else. This makes gameplay sense how?

The concept of different difficulties in instances to allow casual, hardcore and ultra freaks enjoy the game at different levels is crucial to the long term success of WoW. Currently your implementation of Heroics is poor, and seems rushed/arbitrary.

The elements of your question itself define the team’s failure to realize the potential of Normal/Heroic/Etc. modes.

Why? Because we have almost every pvp ability out there

I am writing this to show why it’s unfair to other classes that warlocks get some of the abilities that we get. Yes I am a warlock and i can also tell you that I have played every other class at 70 for a good amount of time and I have settled on my 70 warlock simply because I cannot be defeated.

Why we are so much better?

We have the best CC in the game- pvp wise. What else can keep you from controlling your character WHILE also dealing damage? They say fear has been nerfed. I have seen it last more than 10 seconds with 3 dots ticking and draining life. This is why i chose not to even use fear anymore in pvp unless im fighting more than one person. It has no cooldown. It breaks? cast it again.

We have counter spell. And yes its better than a mage counterspell! The pet runs on a completely different global cooldown system so i can cast my shadowbolt AND cs you at the same time! A mage would have to cancel cast to cs.

We have pets that help us more than other pet in the game. Do i see hunters pets counterspelling casters? Eating their buffs? Taking off harmful debuffs off themselves? didnt think so. Do mages pets cs? do they give them better stealth detection? do they last more than a minute? do they give them 70 resistance to all schools of magic? NOPE. Im not even going to start on discussing shamans elementals LOL

We have purge/dispel. I can send my felhunter on you and have it auto devour everytime you apply a buff. AKA druids that arent fast enough to heal after natures swiftness, pallys devine favor, priests inner focus or sheild, mage frost barrier, etc the list goes on. OR i can have it set to a macro that takes debuffs off me. Fear, sheep, hammer of justice, hunter trap, that list goes on as well. With an 8 second cooldown ppl cannot keep me cc’d for long. Not to mention everytime my pet eats a buff or debuff he is healed for almost 1000 hp and crit for 1300ish. Yeah we all know that was absolutely needed.

We have a form of Mortal strike. Curse of tongues- instant cast, spamable, decreases casting time of any cast by 50%. That is the same thing as reducing healing by 50% plus any other castable spell.

We have some of the best damage over time and direct damage. Everyone knows how rediculous dots can be so im not even going to discuss them. But just when I didnt think they could possibly make our DD’s any better…
Self buffed I can hit shadow bolt for 1700 on a target without curse of shadows. I RARELY see a mage fireball hit me or anyone for that much damage. That being said Im not even discussing destruction warlocks DD im talking about a hybrid afflic/demo build here, as you may already have guessed.

Our HP pools are simply uncomprehendable. Blizzard blessed us with gear that gives us +70 stamina on one peice. But having a talent that increases our stamina gains by 15%? Thats just rediculous. so my +1000 total stamina becomes +1150 stamina. They dont even give that much to prot warriors.

Life tap: I never run out of mana. Ever. One life tap gives me about 1600 mana at the cost of about 1000hp which can be drained back quickly with 2.5 seconds of drain life.

We can heal ourselves better than any other dps class in the game. Even shadow priests. With 3 dots on the target my 70% interupt resisted life drain heals me for 405 a second over 5 seconds while also dealing 380 damage a second? Is that neccessary? Oh and MS or wound poison does not affect how much hp we get back from life drain what so ever. At the end of WSG, AV, AB i will show up with more healing than shamans and paladins.

Healthstones: mine heals me for 3.1k, 5k on criticals. Nuff said

Soul link: Better than defensive stance with warriors, shadow form with priests and any thing else in the game that reduces damage taken. Oh i forgot. It also increases my pets damage and my total damage by 5%. Soul link can also be looked at as an additional 20% HP! Some people might say all you have to do is kill his pet and he loses all of his buffs and soul link. Yeah try to kill my pet. My felhunter makes you lose 135 atp for every melee hit stacking up to 5 times + my curse of weakness if i feel mean enough. Good luck mages killing my pet with 140 resist to all schools of magic. Or if i want to I can just health funnel giving him almost 400 hp a second over 10 seconds. OH NO you somehow happened to kill my pet? I can .5 second summon another with the mana cost of about 200.

Dont even get me started on death coil. Instant 1000 heal giving me 3 seconds to do whatever i want.

I can slow you down even. Amp curse + CoEx = just as good as hamstring, slow, wing clip with a 36 yd range haha go figure.

Forgot to mention that every tick of my life drain or corruption has a 4% chance to give me an instant shadowbolt. Yeah we really need that. Not.

And to top it all off, I get 26% more from any healing affect. 530 bandage ticks. better heals from all healing classes while also increasing my spell damage by 130.

All this being said was discussed about ONE kind of talent build for a warlock. I didnt even mention a pocket warrior spec, instant fear that lasts longer than a priest fear and DOT O’ DEATH spec, or the LOL at fire mages and shadow priest spec.

Sorry for this extremely large block of text but I think some of you may actually appreciate this coming from a warlock.
