I found a way to sneak in other people’s instances and stallown their chests, but I guess when I left the instance it created problems with other groups trying to zone in.

General
-Switching weapons in combat triggers a 1 second global cooldown for all abilities for rogues and a 1.5 second global cooldown for everyone else.

Items
-The Unstoppable Force now has a short duration stun instead of a knockback effect, and the stun will occur less frequently.

Professions
-The Effects of Flasks will now persist through death.
-Wildvine potions have been improved.
-Dark Iron mineral nodes will now sometimes appear in the Burning Steppes and Searing Gorge.

User Interface
-You can create the directory Interface\Icons, and any 32×32 .blp or .tga files you put in there will be available in the icon list for your macros.

World Environment
-Gor’tesh and Grol the Destroyer should no longer stay in evade mode indefinitely.
-Rare Felwood creatures should now have loot.

I can’t remember when I first noticed it, perhaps in Ungoro long ago, but when I was moving and got feared I would stand in the same spot and not run. At first I thought it was just some sort of visual glitch, but I kept being able to repeat it. Did it later against the Beast in UBRS when everyone else was getting feared. I guess most people now use it to avoid the fears in Onyxia’s third stage. That trick will soon no longer work it seems.

“When the next content patch releases (version 1.7) fear spells will now cause opponents to flee immediately, even if they were already moving. This should cut down on the number of situations where fear hasn’t been taking affect.”

Admin account restored, updated some of the links


Somehow when having my account password emailed to myself it got corrupted or changed, so I only had level 9 priveleges and couldn’t add or delete any of the page’s links. I was all bummed that my password was lost forever but I hit up the WP forums and some guy linked me a sublime tutorial of how to fix it using PHP MyAdmin. Worked like a charm so I’m back in all my admin glory. I retrofitted some of the older links and redid things a tad to make them more appropriate.

I’ve refined my consumable chugging quite a bit and when I finally get my hands on some better rings/trinkets and some other 60 level blues/purples my efficiency should be like when Doc Brown’s red log explodes in Back to the Future 3.

* Rip’s damage per combo point has been increased.
* Ferocious Bite’s damage per combo point has been increased. In addition, extra energy now converts to damage at a higher rate.
* The global cooldown on Tiger’s Fury has been replaced with a one-second self cooldown. Its duration has been increased to six seconds.
* Rake’s damage has been increased.

Also, the combo point problem with Ferocious Bite — wherein the points would go away on a miss/dodge/parry — should be resolved.

I have also been informed that talent changes for Druids (which should, among other things, further enhance Feral viability) are still on the way and currently scheduled for the content patch after 1.7.

There is a school of thought that talent changes should be made to increase the Feral form viability, and the developers are of that mind also… but they were also not satisfied with the level of effectiveness for all Druids, regardless of specialization. The changes is 1.7 should boost that significantly.”

Bandaid fix? They should go ahead and put in a tiered system so that weaker debuffs won’t ever bump stronger ones. This raise to 16 not only forces them to rebalance instances/bosses, but it may only mean that 8 more Deep Wounds can be slapped on Onyxia.
