Max damage for max rank Eviscerate is 984. I have two points in Improved Eviscerate bringing the maximum possible damage up to 1082. There are no other talents or abilities that affect Evis (Lethality has no effect on Evis crits). So, the maximum possible damage my Evis can do on a crit to an enemy with ZERO armor is 2164. Smolderthorn Shadow Hunters are elites in LBRS. This one was lvl 57. WTF?

I left in the top part of the log to show that I had already used Evasion and it was no longer active.

I sent a very specific help request about Gor’Tesh getting stuck in steppes because I couldn’t complete the quest. I received back a single generic spam, and nothing else, even after I tried to prod the GM further.

Blizzard actually moved the MGs on the way to the princess closer together! Cute, but I can still run right through them without getting seen. She doesn’t use her fart like clockwork anymore, but it still barely hurts when it goes off and gives enough time to get a big running lead. Boulders do knock you down, but only briefly and most of them miss. The biggest change about the fight is that she will catch up to you after every fart, forcing you to PW: Shield or Renew, or both. My mana went down much faster, and I was at zero mana and low health when she was around the 50% mark. Spirit regen kicked in though and I dragged out the fight, and as it goes on she gets slower and slower progressively. Since she never can actually catch you near the end of the fight, she never stops moving, ever. You can just kite her and laugh as she tries to catch you but never does.

So the fight is still pretty farmable. It takes longer and you can’t Mind Blast during farts, but she goes down just the same.

The Ogres of Tanaris are good to me. I was just grinding some exp down near the south encampment and this dropped off one of the Warlock Ogres. This was my second epic drop (the Icemail Jerkin dropped off the Ogres a bit further to the north), and is actually supremely useful, since my Ziggler was stale and the AH only had daggers around the high 30s. Below are some of its accomplishments so far.

Dude listed them under some long bogus alt name, I forget the real name of the guy who has the recipe. He has been shouting in IF to make them the past few days, you need ingredients of course and he mentions a fee. Nice gloves.

It is dated from Feb 10th, but this is the first I saw of it. Talks a lot about the insane community interest in the game, Blizz optimistically bringing 2500 copies to the launch party, only to find over 5,000 people banging on the door. Also talks about how many are bashing Blizz on poor customer service and how the CMs battle the onslaught. Also found this tidbit pretty interesting:

Within a few minutes, Mr. Metzen determined that the history and culture of the tower’s long-dead inhabitants decreed that the architectural animal motifs progress from horse heads at the tower’s base to eagle heads a bit higher, culminating in lion heads at the grand opera house.

“But don’t put these heads all over the place,” Mr. Metzen told an artist. “Just sprinkling them in here and there will really sell the history to the players who are paying attention.”

Granted this is a theoretical comment about 20 man raids, but still is a nice “whew” comment and goes to show hard caps are easily possible and on the minds of the devs. In this post Lightswitch also makes some great points about things we have discussed in the past. I can see Blizzard both implementing smarter instance caps and ending the raid quest exploits very soon.
