Went exploring to see if I could get up into Quel’Thalas, but didn’t have luck. I didn’t try using Levitate though, so might have better luck with that, who knows. It’s a massive tangled mess of trees and rocks blocking the road, along with a lone non-interactive high elf NPC named Adon.

I was bored and went exploring and had fun checking this area out and taking some screens. I found 2 instance portals inside, though they were very far in and not active. Basically inside you see a lot of sand surrounded by rocky walls and open spaces revealing what looks to be outer space. You can see planets and rock chunks speed by. There are lots of brightly colored moving light beams, intended to be the “threads of time” or whatever. I guess it is time itself flowing through the cavern. You progress farther and come upon various buildings and doodad types. I passed an alliance looking shack with cannons, and next was something out of the barrens, a catapult and Orcish building. I also saw a boat filled with skeletons, looked like they were still sailing, only fully stripped of their skin and clothes. There was also the famous giant hourglass, complete with sand falling through it. So far this is one of my favorite spots in the game.

Nice step in the right direction, please keep this up Blizzard. A couple things I noticed that I particularly enjoyed:

- Outdoor raid encounter in Azshara shows 5 people fighting, not 40. Five-man content is where it’s at. Ten and fifteen man is also acceptable, but let’s keep the 40 fests to a minimum please.
- “Priest - Power Word: Shield can now be cast on all raid members”. The Priest community bitch slap prevails!
- Warrior - Rage will now generate when attacks are parried, dodged and blocked. Just in time for Gg.
- 4 new action bars? They haven’t been in the game for so long people are already used to their UIs, but putting it in doesn’t hurt.
- I’m already imagining tons of funny scenarios related to the Meeting Stones.
- The icons used in the web layout are just color overlayed versions of game icons. The icon recycling goes on…

Go here and follow the instructions to install Wowreader. It works a lot like the Cosmos.exe if you are familiar with Cosmos. Run it every now and then after you are done playing and it will update your gear, skills, talents, etc. It is very handy and easy to use, and is a nice way of listing your stats on this page.

Every time someone posts a serious post about tradeskills, CMs come running with the same canned BS positional statements about crafted items being deliberately below the instance drops. I have never seen them even entertain posts about crafting lameness, which suggests that the devs are either eternally locked in their opinions of crafting, or we won’t see any changes for a LONG time, possibly years.

30 minutes may be a bit extreme, but it definitely needed something. It’s still a very useful item, but it now means just one extra escape in a fight rather than complete immunity to roots/nova.

Nearly all the points are so true. One of them I happened to enjoy a lot:

The Firelords are pretty mean. Not only do the spawns split just like war3, he also likes to spam people with this massive damage dot. If you die with the dot on, you are converted into a 60 elite monster. Priests have to be fast with the dispels, it is a magic dot.

Biggest giants I’ve yet to see in the game. They have this crazy charge move that knocks back and does like 1500 damage to everyone in a big aoe.

With this curse on, I did an Inner Focus Prayer of Healing and it barely did anything.

Look at the aoe radius on his warstomp, pretty much stuns everyone around for 5 seconds. Everyone must have renew on at all times because it ticking during the stun is very nice. The dogs also have a crazy powerful cone fire aoe so the warriors need to turn him away from everyone asap.

This dropped before the warrior belt. They were super nice about giving me a roll at it, I rolled about 267 out of 1000. I think the winner rolled about 600.

This room was massive and had dwarves in every direction. A mage room for sure.

These guys started appearing as we got near Molten Core. They are big and have a nice texture that is different from all the other golems of their type.

This guy was pretty easy, he spawns tons of little elementals but they go down easy. He dropped some pos fire resistance mantle.

And this always seems to be funny.

They are on a completely unique cooldown different from potions and all conjured health items so they can be used in combination with like all of your other stuff. I put them to good use inside BRD and 800 HP is not bad for a heal, considering they were free and relatively easy to get. Basically in Felwood there is this quest where you give a NPC some of these dropped/mined items and in return he gives you this plant medicine. When you are out and find a sick plant you can used the medicine on it to save it, and afterwards gather its berries. There are 3 types of berries from what I’ve seen, not sure how rare they all are. The Whipper Root Tuber is so good it would be worth farming to always have a supply on hand I think.
