This spring I am need of a good solo project for my final semester of school. At first I thought I would use MotM because it would give me an excuse to finish all the neutral heroes. The longer I sat in the bath, the more I thought about making an all-new linear RPG that would mix elements of MotM, WoW and the whole experience that was Warcraft III ROC and TFT. What’s that? A Faggot Farseer boss that spams hundreds of wolves all the while some Beastiaries are beginning to construct behind him? A Wunwuntu Beastmaster lurking deep in the jungle of Stranglethorn who barrages you and your allies with every jungle creature known to man? It will take a clever player to get all the way to the end. Yes you will still be able to play some of your favorites from MotM (it will support 1-5 players) and yes there will be a whole new load of secrets to look forward to. Excited? “I see so many people complaining and whining on these boards that i realized what they need is a class of there own! You could chose any title you like whiners, complainers, noobs, get creative with it. They wouldnt even have to log in to get experience you could integrate it with the forums. Maybe 100 exp for nerf posts, 150 for complaints about servers, and 500 for long drawn out speeches about account cancelation. They could all be trolls and you could give them special abilities like crying which would cause humanoids to flee to get away from their pointless crys. Past few days my ping skyrockets as I play, leaving me in lag spikes or disconnects. Haven’t joined a party since 48 or so because I can’t heal reliably and I eat numerous deaths a day due to spikes. Seems like others have been seeing the past things in recent days.

Ok so it wasn’t the coolest epic in the world but I was glad to finally get one. This is the second epic to drop for our guild, Poyoyo’s Staff of Jordan takes the honors of being #1. Termina’s hopes of disenchantment were denied and it went for 34G buyout on AH.

I talked with a guy from the hosting company who has been helpful in the past when things with the site were less than perfect. He says they were indeed hacked.

“Our server was hacked last week, I believe it was Monday night/Tuesday morning. We’ve taken security measures to make sure that never happens again, and that is causing part of our ftp issue right now. It should be resolved this morning, though we don’t have an exact eta.”

Right now I am editing all the database config files by hand to fix them, along with replacing all the index files, which is very annoying.
